Whether we’re using food rewards or toys / play during training, we prioritize positive reinforcement to help dogs feel safe, understood, and excited to learn.
A big part of our philosophy is meeting each dog’s unique needs. We take the time to understand what motivates them and what helps them thrive, because every dog learns best when their emotional and physical needs are supported.
Our approach is rooted in building strong, trusting relationships and celebrating who each dog is. We believe learning should feel good, confidence should be nurtured, and training looks different for each dog in front of us.
Private Training
Private training is a one-on-one coaching experience where I work directly with you and your dog to address the behaviors or challenges you’re struggling with. Each session is tailored to your goals, but the focus is always on empowering you as the handler. I’ll demonstrate techniques, teach you how to apply them, and guide you through the follow-through so you feel confident practicing at home. My goal is to give you the skills and understanding to create lasting change together.
In-Home Boarding
In-home boarding provides your dog with a safe, calm, and comfortable home environment (not a loud or stressful kennel.) I only take a very small number of dogs at a time so each dog gets individualized attention. Your dog stays in one of two dedicated rooms based on their needs: a cozy, home-like room for relaxed or senior dogs, or a structured kennel room for puppies or dogs who benefit from routine. With plenty of supervised time, enrichment, and consistency, your dog gets to relax and settle in just like part of the family.
Board & Train
Board & Train is a structured training program where your dog stays with me during the week so I can teach them foundational skills, routines, and manners. Throughout their stay, I do the hands-on training to jump-start their progress. Then I involve you through regular updates and weekend home visits. Each weekend, your dog goes home so you can practice what they’ve learned and build your own skills, making this program far more collaborative than a traditional board & train. When your dog graduates, you’ll already know how to continue the training at home with confidence
